Coi'ti Castellans - 4th Company - Master of the Fleet Tomias de Fitzhamon

Good Evening Everyone,

In a further attempt to inspire my (slightly stalled) painting efforts, I have assembled my Primaris Space Marines (not including the new Indomitus Marines) to review their existing paint scheme (courtesy of a Firestorm Games Bring & Buy Sale in 2019) and how it can be modified to match the Castle Gamers Committee Approved (TM pending) paint scheme 😀. I am therefore delighted to introduce examples of the Coi'ti Castellans 4th Company led by Captain and Master of the Fleet Tomias de Fitzhamon:

Master of the Fleet, Captain in Gravis Armour (whatever that is) Tomias de Fitzhamon (named in honour of one of the historic Lords of Coity Castle).

A Primaris Repulsor (which was one of THE most unpleasant models to build I have ever built [including the original metal Sisters of Battle Penitent Engines!!!])

So with a collection of my models displayed above, it is clear that I need to do a lot of cleaning, preparation and brushwork as well as to procure some new paints to deliver the same fantastic white effect that my Co-Author Tenebrae was able to achieve on his models... I am the first to say that I have a lot to learn / re-learn about painting but am keen to see what I can do and to make sure that I learn some lessons that I can apply to my many, many other painting projects down the line!

Shoulder Pads and the Wonders of Off-White

Good Evening Everyone,  Well the paints have finally come out of storage and my someone-else-painted Space Marine Primaris models have now begun their slow conversion from Dark Angels on night world operations into the 4th Company Coi'ti Castellans.  After waiting in vain for more paints to arrive at my local wargame and hobby supplier MIB  Models (http://www.mibmodels.co.uk/) obviously thanks to Games Workshop paints popularity, I decided to bite the bullet and crack on with the Vallejo paints already in my possession. Therefore,  with 1 coat of Off-White paint added before the almost nightly lockdown rowing machine exertions and 1 coat of paint added afterwards, I have been amazed at the models conversion from brooding night time spectres into poor imitations of Tenebrae's wonderful paint scheme. A New Beginning and a New Co-Author
